We all are aware about Priyanka Chopra’s achievements in Hollywood and she says that she had to sacrifice a smooth life in order to perform the kind of work she does. Now she rarely gets time to meet her family, but she is happy that she will have a legacy that she could tell her children all about. While talking to a leading tabloid, the actress talked about all the hardships that come along with the universal stardom. Priyanka Chopra has definitely made it big in the West. She is a star of the popular TV series Quantico, and will soon create her territory in Hollywood films with her debut in Baywatch. Besides that she has been on every chat show that we have seen, she also has hosted Global Citizen with Chris Martin, she has been one of the presenters at the Oscars with Tom Hiddleston, and is the winner of two People’s Choice Awards.
Global domination is going pretty well for our PC. She said that to begin again after having had a successful career in an industry where you are loved, to think doing that after you’re one of the top actors in the country; it’s a big thing. She added that it really takes a lot to reintroduce you to a whole new industry without any air of stardom. She said that she “has been treated with a lot of respect, but she now understands why many actors don’t attempt or aren’t capable to make it in the West. It’s easy to stay in the comfort zone.
There was news that Priyanka will be shooting for two Hindi films very soon. But that idea also doesn’t appear to be sure as of now. Priyanka told to the reporters about the same and said that she is not sure as she has very limited time between finishing Quantico season 2 and starting the season 3.
She met lot directors when she was in India for a brief duration, and a few flew to New York to meet her to discuss potential projects. But she isn’t sure if she could take over any new venture before April.
There were reports that Priyanka will be announcing two films in December 2016, but that hasn’t materialised yet.
